History, heritage and local roots

We're going for 🚶

The taste of sweet Provence. In 1920, Ernest Guillet created La Nougaterie du Roy René in Aix, a small confectionery workshop in the purest local tradition. Since then, confectionery, which has inherited it, has perpetuated the know-how of calissons d'Aix, nougats de Provence, fruit jellies and a multitude of other delicacies. The ancient spa town now has three shops. As for sweets, they are more rooted than ever in the regional territory.

Visits to the museum are free and free, or guided for a more complete discovery at a low price.

Environmental involvement, including the planting of an orchard of 300 almond trees with Act For Planet.

The recipes offered on the site (“Blog” section) to eat Roy sweets differently — yum, Christophe Felder's calissonned rice pudding!
