Opened last September, right on Place Jean-Jaurès, Mon Petit Épeautre is the latest addition to the artisanal bakery Around The Bread, the youngest being Éspelaut & Cie. You can enjoy special organic breads with your eyes closed, made with homemade natural sourdough. In keeping with the family spirit, everything is homemade using unique recipes. The ingredients, on the other hand, are mostly local and fresh, like fruit for baking.

Special breads, including Stollen, brioche bread with dried fruits and candied citrus fruits, and Lavoisier, ultra soft, made with homemade breadcrumbs made from leftover organic rye, spelt and country breads.

Puff pastry brioches, plain, Canadian version, with pecans and maple syrup, or Christmas brioches, with frangipane, four spices and cranberries.

The brownuts, a brownie revisited with a chocolate mousse and caramel iced with milk chocolate and almond chips, terribly addictive, and the hazelnut praline cookie!
